Pitcher offers a wide range of services for geotechnical site investigation and instrumentation installation. Pitcher’s history goes back to 1933 and we pride ourselves as a leader and innovator in drilling, sampling, and subsurface investigation. Our goal is to provide clients in industry and government with the highest quality services.
Pitcher has earned an excellent reputation within our industry by building a team of highly experienced personnel and management who reflect our mission and embody our commitment to providing the highest quality services and offering innovative solutions to difficult projects.
We are proud of our relationship with Operating Engineers #3 and #12 and employ union personnel in both our field and maintenance operations. We are the preferred option for high profile Bay Area projects including the San Jose BART exploration, California High Speed Rail, Giants Stadium and Millennium Tower stabilization and repair as well as other complicated tunneling and instrumentation projects.

We are owned by Sealaska, an Alaska Native corporation, and have agreements with both the Operating Engineers union #3 in Northern California and #12 in Southern California.
We also carry extensive insurance coverage, which includes general liability, automobile, workers compensation, and contractor’s pollution insurance. Copies of our licenses and certificates of insurance are available upon request.
