Fraste Multidrill XL:
Capabilities:
- Mud rotary methods
- Wireline Coring
- Borings up to 400ft, 4-10″ in diameter
- Well installations up to 300ft and 6″ in diameter
Dimensions: L 29.75′ x W 8′ x H 11′ (mast down) H 30′ (mast up)
One of the most utilized rigs due to ability to conduct drive sampling and wireline coring
Small size is useful in metropolitan areas
Efficient operation in small package
Mast extension can be removed if overhead clearance is an issue to reduce total height by approx. 4ft
Fraste MD/XL
Capabilities:
- Mud or air rotary methods
- Borings up to 500ft, 4-12″ in diameter
- Well installations up to 6″ in diameter
Features:
- Onboard mud conditioning system mounted to deck including shale-shaker and de-sander
- Smaller footprint in metropolitan areas because additional mud trailer is not required
- Hydraulic driven clamps assist with sampling
- Modified to operate via mud or air rotary

Failing 1500
Pitcher operates three Failing 1500 truck-mounted drill rigs.
Capabilities:
- Mud rotary methods
- Borings up to 1000ft, 4-10″ in diameter
- Well installations up to 6″ in diameter
Features:
- Clutch and brake system designed for speed of drilling and sampling. High speed in and out of the hole without the need of hydraulics
CME55
Capabilities:
- Auger or mud rotary methods
- Continuous coring
- Borings up to 250ft, 4-8″ in diameter
- Well installations up to 4″ in diameter
Features:
- Operates continuous coring equipment
- Auger or rotary methods give flexibility on each location – begin with auger drilling to collect water samples then case the hole and switch to mud rotary for deeper drilling
